Sabrina Cox
CEO and Founder
I’m Sabrina — wife to Jason, mom to three amazing kids, and the founder of Peace for Families.
Like many of the families and business owners I work with today, life changed for me in an instant.
After experiencing a life-threatening medical emergency that resulted in a nearly 70-day hospital stay over Christmas and my husband’s 40th birthday, I gained a completely different perspective on what protection, preparation, and peace of mind truly mean.
That season forced our family to walk through uncertainty firsthand — and it became the turning point that shifted my career focus away from large corporate accounts and toward helping individuals, families, and small business owners protect the lives they’ve worked so hard to build.
I realized that too many self-employed families are carrying the weight of everything on their shoulders without a true safety net in place. Business owners, contractors, real estate professionals, truck drivers, ministry leaders, and independent workers often spend years building income, businesses, and dreams — yet one unexpected illness, injury, or life event can disrupt everything.
That’s why I became deeply passionate about helping self-employed individuals create their own protection systems through our Independent Income Protection Plan. My goal is to help hardworking people build stability, preserve their lifestyle, and protect their families without relying solely on employers or “someday” plans. I believe financial protection should feel empowering, personal, and accessible — not overwhelming or transactional.
When I’m not serving clients, you’ll usually find me juggling baseball schedules, fishing trips, and the occasional unexpected ER visit that comes with raising three active kids. And if you ever ask where I’d rather be, the answer is easy: the OBX every single time.
At the heart of everything I do is family. Peace for Families was built from real-life experience, deep compassion, and a desire to help others feel supported before life forces them to think about protection the hard way.

Family is at the center of everything I do. My husband, Job, is a retired Navy Veteran and together we've built a life focused on faith, family, service, and making meaningful memories. We have two amazing children who keep life fun and full of adventure.
When we're not working or at school events, you can usually find us spending weekends at soccer fields, hanging out with our gang of doodles, cheering on college football - especially my Aggies - or planning our next family trip, especially if it involves Disney.
As someone who deeply understands the importance of protecting the ones you love, I'm passionate about helping individuals and families prepare for the future with confidence. I believe life insurance is more than a policy - it's peace of mind, security, and a way to care for your family even when life takes unexpected turns.
